As a medical student at ISCTEM University, engaged in the clinical practice component of my course, I have been involved in a variety of practical activities that have contributed significantly to the development of my clinical skills and fundamental knowledge
- My responsibilities include: Participation in practical activities in a hospital environment, active engagement in clinical internships in various medical specialties, collaboration with healthcare professionals to improve practical skills
- Medical history taking and deferential diagnosis
- Outpatient care with supervision, history taking and physical examinations
- Collaboration with resident physicians and specialists
- Training in clinical procedures: Carrying out basic procedures, such as blood collection, medication administration and sutures, under adequate supervision
- Basic and advanced life support, and minimally invasive procedures under the supervision of experienced doctors
