  • Monitor and control subsea production systems, wells, flowlines, risers, umbilicals, and associated process equipment through MCS, DCS, and SCADA systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
  • Monitor and maintain well integrity through tubing and annulus pressure monitoring, annulus surveillance, and annulus bleed-down and refill activities in accordance with Well Integrity Management requirements.

  • Support commissioning, intervention, maintenance, pigging, leak testing, and offshore campaign activities while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage production deferments, system overrides, inhibits, and control system bypasses in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Promote a strong HSE culture by adhering to safety procedures, risk assessments, Management of Change (MOC) requirements, and operational excellence principles.

  • Supervise and train Subsea Well Operators to competently operate the subsea equipment and assist in all aspects of supporting the operation and maintenance of the subsea system.
  • Provide on-the-spot leadership and direction in flow assurance management tasks to protect subsea infrastructure in the event of production upsets.
  • Ensure safety critical testing is completed on schedule, with supported justification for deferral in place should this not be met. Maintain auditable records of testing once completed.

  • As onboard Subsea Operations focal point, coordinate infield subsea operations and topside activity, facilitating field review and implementation of activity risk assessments and JSAs. Advise Snr Prod Ops Supt of relevant SIMOPS conflicts requiring management, such that accurate PTW can be raised to mitigate field risk.
  • Ensure that well rates are adjusted and monitored as per Production Engineering targets. Also participate in the development of those targets, providing operations feedback and lessons from the field.
  • Capture production opportunities to maximize commingled production. Coordinate this with all connected parties.
  • Ensure the Control Room Operators maintain the required level of competency to operate subsea wells if required.
  • Lead the team to drive process improvements and implementation of new ideas.
