Establishment of MEAL Systems

• Establish and oversee functional MEAL system for the projects.
• Lead on continuous performance monitoring of indicators and ensured availability of quality data for online MEAL reporting and Country Annual Reports.

Data Collection, Analysis and Quality Assurance

• Plan and implement several surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises and impact assessments (baseline and endline).
• Review databases and data tracking tools of the projects to maintain data quality for collating reliable and consistent data, which meets minimum reporting requirements of donors.

Training and Capacity Building

• Map training opportunities for program staff and partners;
• Promote the development of technical and analytical skills among M&E personnel to improve efficiency and effectiveness in data collection and analysis, driving improvements in data informed decision making.

Spot Check Visits

• Carry out regular field monitoring of program interventions, produce monitoring reports and conduct debrief sessions with relevant program staff and develop agreed action plans.
• Identify critical areas that require intervention and developed action plans to mitigate problems, ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of the program.

Accountability

• Establish and manage Complaint and Feedback Mechanism, which facilitate beneficiaries/communities to register complaints and share feedback.

• Develop and update the MEAL plan involving project staff and partners.
• Develop a clear and functional data flow chart involving project staff and relevant partners.
• Ensure that quantitative and qualitative monitoring tools are systematically implemented and used by the teams.
• Organize frequent field visit to monitor program activities or interventions against Quality Benchmarks/Quality Checklists and produce & share reports to concerned program team based on quality findings and incorporate inputs from program team in agreed action plan.
• Lead on continually monitoring the performance of indicators using IPTT and ensure availability of quality data for online MEAL reporting and Country Annual Reports.

• Plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocol, and the establishment of operating policies and procedures.
• Plan, implement, and maintained data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol.
• Plan and coordinate the staffing of research studies, to include the recruitment and administration of research support staff, as appropriate to the activity.
• Monitor the progress of research activities.
• Develop and maintain records of research activities, and prepared reports, as required by investigators, administrators, funding agencies, and/or regulatory bodies.

• Monitor projects activities, expenditures and progress towards achieving the project output.
• Provide feedback to the Project Manager on project strategies and activities.
• Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
• Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to Project Manager.
