Activities Missions

The Red Cross's Accueil écoute orientation (AEO) program is designed to help people find the help they need by listening attentively and directing them to the right structures. AEO volunteers are there to listen, understand people's problems and help them find solutions.

Visit to the headquarters of the International Committee of the Red Cross, including its museum, 30 March 2024, Geneva, Switzerland.

Welcome and listen to the people, identify the difficulties they may be facing and direct them; support them in accessing their rights and healthcare, and in learning the French language; Refer them to the structures best suited to their needs, and offer them social actions run by our Unit: food and clothing assistance.

People assisted: Refugees, asylum seekers, migrants, homeless people.

CEMIRDE, Maputo/ Maratane refugee camp, Nampula, Mozambique

Internship and volunteering within the framework of the partnership program between the Episcopal Commission for Migrants, Refugees and Displaced People (CEMIRDE) and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

The aim of this program was to provide legal assistance to refugees and asylum seekers living in the capital Maputo and in the province bearing the same name.

Main activities:

Registration of the nationality of refugee children born in Mozambique;

Provide legal assistance to refugees and asylum seekers residing in the capital Maputo and the province bearing the same name in civil, criminal and administrative matters.

Application of norms and principles of international law, especially international refugee law, dissemination of the rights and duties of refugees in accordance with the 1951 Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees.

participation in various training courses with the aim of

defending the rights of the most vulnerable people, especially children women, young women and people affected by HIV and AIDS.

Electoral Observer for the 2019 general elections (forum Mulher platform).
