• To execute field construction activities in accordance with the contract, project documents, schedules integration, safety standards and quality standards.
• Scope of work development, compilation of work packs, generating of method statements, generation of task risk assessments (TRA) for all work undertaken during turnaround / project execution.
• Pre-calculation of manpower, duration, cranes, material and tools required for shutdown & project activities.
• Procuring of materials and consumables using oracle software and design engineering practice codes (DEP).
• Plays an active role in development of SAPREF’s safety culture and helps make safety a natural part of all work activities. Ensures daily and weekly short-range planning is communicated and executed down to the foreman level.

• Ensure that subordinates are trained and knowledgeable of specifications and work procedures that this material is being utilized to ensure optimum efficiency, and that work is being performed in conformance with specified quality requirements.
• Plans required work activities to ensure that design drawings, tools, equipment, and materials are available.

• Developing activity schedules, including calendars, defining resource codes, activity codes, assigning resources, etc., analysis and levelling of critical resources to optimize the resources/schedule, identify the risk and constraints of the schedule and develop an integrated workable turnaround schedule (working closely with the planner). Communicate required completion dates and interfaces/dependencies between the responsible parties.
• Part of scope challenge with external oddity on critical path.
• Responsible for developing, measurement and reporting S-curve/Bar-chart, tracking sheet and progress report as compared to the schedule.
• Make the work scope/schedule packages ready for the execution/field coordinators.
• Collect the actual activity progress from the execution on field and update the schedule on a daily/hourly basis as required for the turnaround/project.
• Update progress report and issue look-ahead schedule and interfaces.
• Analyse data/input and provide advice on path forward to manage deviation while minimizing impact on the total work plan.
• After completion of the turnaround, list out the deviation/lesson learned for development and enhancement of schedules for future turnarounds.
