Asmal is humanitarian health logistics, member of the International Association of Public Health Logistics (IAPHL). Has high skills in supply chain management. Asmal has more than 16 years of experience working to improve supply chain in Mozambique. He is pharmacist and postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management. Currently He works with Chemonics international (USAID GHSC-PSM project) as Field Support Manager with a national role leading 11 logistics provincial advisors. Asmal has high experience in trainings, since 2010 he Provides technical assistance and logistical support for all logistics training activities to Ministery of Health, where is involved in organization, preparation and conducting different types of training (ToT, Pre-service training, in service training and on the Job training). Asmal provides technical assistance to CMAM to implement PELF( Pharmaceutical logistics strategic plan) and he is involved in training staff for intermediary warehouse of Vilankulos, Mocuba, Chimoio, Ile and Mopeia. He has experiencie in providing technical assistance to prepare annual provincial meetings to discuss supply chain performance. Experience in developing strategy plans to improve Supply Chain in Mozambique. From top to button Asmal knows the challenges of Suply chain in Mozambique and know the country from central level till health facility level. Working at provincial level as logistic provincial advisor with MSF, ABT and JSI got experiencies to manage health programs such as HIV/AIDS, Malária, Family planning, MCH, Nutrion and TB He has organized, prepared an conducted more than 350 trainings and trained more than 2000 MoH Staff in various programs (Supply chain management, SOP 3ª edition, POPS for intermediary warehouse, HIV, Malaria, Tuberculosis and Information Systems(SIMAM&SIGLUS). During the restrictions because of COVID-19, Asmal has prepared and conducted ONLINE Trainings and E-supervision(Online). Asmal is also a university's teacher, where he gets skills to train people. Participated as humanitarian logistics in supporting Sofala and Cabo Delgado provinces after Cyclone IDAI (Sofala), Kenneth (Cabo Delgado) and shared Cyclones response experiences in annual humanitarian conference in Kigali. Ability to Excel, word, PowerPoint and Power BI He trained key personnel to create Databases, collect data, perform data cleansing, analyze, and using data for decision making and produce different types of reports. Asmal doesn't need full supervision; he is mature and independent.
