Active participation in surgical interventions, both elective and emergency, in close collaboration with the renowned Rwandan military surgeon, Dr. Jean Paul Shumbusho, assigned to the mission in the northern operational theater. Surgeries encompass a variety of procedures, including:

- Appendectomies;
- Herniorrhaphies;
- Hydrocelectomies;
- Surgical debridement and cleansing of traumatic wounds, such as those resulting from traffic accidents and gunshot injuries;
- Limb amputations;
- Hysterectomies;
- Exploratory laparotomies; and
- Cesarean sections.

Provided emergency care to patients, both adults and pediatrics, strictly following a predefined priority classification to ensure prompt assistance to the most critical cases;

Conducted comprehensive outpatient consultations in general medicine, including thorough interpretation of laboratory and imaging test results, precise formulation of medical prescriptions, and providing personalized guidance to promote patient well-being;

Made accurate diagnoses and promptly treating patients with acute medical conditions, as well as managing patients with worsening chronic pathologies that pose an imminent risk to their lives.

Medical Care: Provided primary medical care to military personnel, their families, and, in some cases, civilians, diagnosed and treated a variety of medical conditions, from common illnesses to chronic issues.

Disease Prevention: Emphasized the importance of disease prevention by promoting vaccination, preventive health, and health education.

Injury Management: Handled common injuries like minor wounds and sprains and, in some cases, treating more severe injuries until the patient can be transferred to a referral hospital.

Medical Emergencies: Responded to medical emergencies, stabilized patients, and coordinated medical evacuations when necessary.

Psychological Support: Provided basic psychological support and referred military personnel to mental health services when needed.

Clinical Leadership: Led military medical units and guided other healthcare professionals.

Telemedicine: Provision of telephone and remote care and support, including telemedicine services, to clarify patients 'and citizens' doubts regarding COVID-19, its symptoms, complications, and diagnostic methods;
Conducted telemedicine consultations encompassing general medicine, with the aim of providing medical care at a distance.
