• As a UN Long Term Agreement consultant, facilitated events with UN, government staff and civil society organizations:

i) Facilitate National Meeting of MINEDH with government sectors, civil society and international partners to review the national plan on prevention and response to violence against children in schools;

ii) Facilitated the Team building and Planning retreat for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) team in Mozambique – UNICEF LTA.

iii) Co-animator and co-facilitated the training of Mozambican ministry of education and human

development staff (from MINEDH central level focal points and 11 provincial ones) on gender-based violence in educational planning, contracted by UNICEF/UNGEI (a Gender at the Center Initiative - GCI).

• Consulting for national NGO:

i) Developed the methodology and facilitated the IGUAL program learning workshop implemented by CESC to strengthen civil society to promote Human Rights.

ii) Facilitates gender-centered education training in IFPs together with Associação Progresso.

ii) I am advisor and technical assistant for Zizile - institute for child development - Early Childhood Development focused organization.

• Consulting for international organizations:

i) Until december 2024, I was a member of denkmodell (denkmodell.de) expert consultant team contracted by GIZ Mozambique to provide organizational capacity development in the Project Nexus North (Cabo o Delgado, Nampula and Niassa) – supporting Agencia de Desenvolvimento Integrado do Norte (ADIN) and other government organization. Develop the Protocol for Intervention of Community Actors in prevention and response to Gender Based Violence in Nampula and Cabo Delgado.

ii) Until december 2024, was the national consultant representing the Canadian organization for the development of education (CODE), to provide coaching and technical assistance to progress in the implementation of the BETTER project (Better Education Through Teacher Training And Empowerment For Results), a project with a gender approach and funded by Global Affairs

Canada.

• Research and Evaluation consultant:

i) I developed and completed the baseline study for the launch project "My Voice Counts" of ROSC - Fórum Das Organizações da Sociedade Civil Para os Direitos da Criança, in 4 provinces of the country, namely Maputo city, Sofala, Inhambane and Niassa.

ii) Conducted the evaluation of the strategic plan of Zizile - Institute for Child Development.

• Design and oversee implementation of PEPA scholarship for six TVET students in Portugal for TEPMA1
• Design and lead the PEPA scholarship and life skills programme that will reach +350 adolescents and youth in Cabo Delgado (Palma, Pemba, Chiure and Balama), in partnership with ExxonMobil for Rovuma LNG.
• Design and oversee implementation of PEPA scholarship for TVET students at Instituto Industrial e Comercial de Pemba for TEPMA1
• Provide knowledge and technical support to Observatório das Mulheres in Implementation of the project "Resist" taking place in five provinces (Zambezia, Nampula, Sofala, Niassa and Cabo Delgado)
• Design and lead the Community and CSO/NGO Stakeholder Mapping Exercise in 26 Communities of the Palma District, and 15 Communities of the Mocimboa da Praia Municipality - Cabo Delgado Province - for Mozambique LNG project, led by TotalEnergies EP Mozambique Area1 Limitada.
• Co-lead, in consortium with swisspeace', the project design and implementation of Local Development Agreements with communities in the north of Cabo Delgado for the Mozambique LNG project, led by TotalEnergies EP Mozambique Area1 Limitada (subcontracted by swisspeace).
• Lead the rapporteurs for the Women in the Economy conference, and document the event - including conference report.
• Lead the facilitation and rapporteurs of the Early Childhood Development Roundtable for the national ECD Network.
• Manages the implementation of Organizational Capacity Assessment, Coaching and Mentorship for Civil Society organizations that promote Human Rights of Women, ie, Global Affairs Canada funded ALIADAS Programme.
• Managed content development and creative design of the TEPMA1 and Mozambique LNG PAMOJA TUNAWEZA Socio Economic Development Brochure.

• Managed the partners selection process for implementation of a multi-million dollar education portfolio in Palma, Cabo Delgado, focusing on capacity building and education projects for children in Quitunda village.
• Developed programs to improve learning outcomes, community participation, and early childhood education opportunities. Designed a scholarship program for youth access and retention in secondary and tertiary education.
• Coordinated school infrastructure improvements, and provided technical assistance to implementing partners in Maputo and Pemba.

Managed the completion of the MGCAS PROSAS design by Oxford Policy Programme (OPM) and

coordinated government and stakeholder engagement. Reported progress to UN Joint Programme

partners and collaborated with UNICEF's Social Protection team.

• Managed planning and reporting activities for output 2 of the annual plan, coordinating funds

utilization and donor reporting for various grants. They led mapping of child protection indicators

(GBV, VAC indicators) from civil society and managed section engagement for government

planning, including the development of the National Development Strategy.

• Managed communication with senior government officials, including MGCAS, MINEDH national

directors and the Procuradoria Geral da Republica.

• Supervised and mentored staff in Maputo, Beira, Quelimane and Nampula.

• Finalized and published Alternative Care regulations for children without parental care in collaboration with PGR, Ministry of Justice, and MGCAS.
• Played a key role in finalizing the National Basic Social Security Strategy (ENSSB), a child-centered initiative with MGCAS and INAS.
• Planned and coordinated nationwide supervision visits with PGR, Supreme Court, PRM, and MGCAS to monitor child protection in residential centers.
• Led UNICEF’s contributions to the MEF Carteira de Projectos as section lead.

• Conducted organizational capacity assessments (OCA-PAOP) and provide continued technical and knowledge support to advanced organizations with the purpose of graduating to received direct grants from USAID.

• Co-lead the establishment of CESC, including writing Statutes of the Association, the Rules, and Regulations, and set up the various administrative systems.
• Managed implementation of CESC Capacity Building Model at provincial and district level (Gaza and Cabo Delgado) to engage with government,understanding policies and legislation.
• Developed Organizational Assessments tools for measuring organizational development (PACT toolkit) and measuring civil society involvement in monitoring governance, especially in the implementation of Policies that affected and effected upon the lives of Women and Children with focus on Education and Health sectors.
• Established local-based civil society forums, in 6 districts, to include about 120 organizations to monitor district budgets for Education and Health sectors.
• Develop training Curricula and coordinate development of manuals: Budget, Monitoring, Good Governance of Civil Society Organizations, Advocacy Manual, Community Score Card for Education and health sectors.
• Provided training and capacity development of members of the civil society organizations in the areas of Good Governance of organizations, Advocacy, Monitoring State Budget.
• Provided technical support to Movimento de Educacao para Todos. In this capacity, led the evaluation of the report on Advancements of Mozambique in achieving goals of International Declarations, with particular emphasis on the Declaration of Jomtien about Education for All. Also, participate in sector planning, with specific focus on Development of Education Strategic Plan 2012-2016
• Liaise with donor partners (UNICEF, AGIR-IBIS, FDC, UNDP).
• Supervised staff in Maputo, Gaza and Cabo Delgado Province. Also, was responsible to organize and participate in the management of CESC, including write proposal development, donors reports, executive meetings, Directors Council, Assembly.

• Led strategic and operational planning and implementation of seven provincial directorates in Mozambique, and managed national response to Orphans and Vulnerable children, by government and civil society in Gaza, Sofala, Manica, Zambezia, Tete and Nampula, in the implementation of the Child Friendly Schools programme.
• The main highlights of this post include: a) participated in national and provincial multi-sectoral planning led by Ministry of Education sector for the seven target districts, with the aim to bring all critical services closer to children in schools; b) coordinating the engagement of civil society organizations in the response to the plight of HIV orphans and vulnerable children; c) Organized and facilitate National Planning meetings with partner organizations.

• Developed the FDC’s Programmes Monitoring and Evaluation System, and led establishment of departments' data collection and quality control systems. The Major highlights of this post were: training of over 20 SIDA funded network of organizations on Monitoring and evaluation of Child Rights Programme; Managed and coordinated the implementation of the Civil Society Index (CIVICUS)nationally, involving over 400 NGOs and 2000 citizens.

• Managed and Coordinated organizations implementing the Orphans and Vulnerable component of USAID Funded Kuhluvuka HIV/AIDS Program. Whilst in this post, I co-founded and represented FDC at the National Multisectoral OVC Technical Working Group which including Ministries of Gender and Social Action, Education, Health, Civil Society stakeholders. I was also one the conveners of the first national conference on Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Mozambique.
