Human Development Consultant and Life Coach
Tina Mucavele is an established Project Manager, Life Coach, Community-oriented Leader, Entrepreneur, and Advocate who serves as an embodiment of vitality to many. With twenty years of developmental work experience in Mozambique and in the region, Tina has proven to be a visionary leader, adept with the knowledge of organizational development through visioning, strategic planning, evaluating, monitoring, and trusted advisory support. Her areas of expertise include human rights, child rights, gender.
Tina's has developed passion for change and her career goal is to continue to strive for the growth and transformation of peoples lives through individual, group and community interventions around the world.

i) Facilitate National Meeting of MINEDH with government sectors, civil society and international partners to review the national plan on prevention and response to violence against children in schools;
ii) Facilitated the Team building and Planning retreat for the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) team in Mozambique – UNICEF LTA.
iii) Co-animator and co-facilitated the training of Mozambican ministry of education and human
development staff (from MINEDH central level focal points and 11 provincial ones) on gender-based violence in educational planning, contracted by UNICEF/UNGEI (a Gender at the Center Initiative - GCI).
i) Developed the methodology and facilitated the IGUAL program learning workshop implemented by CESC to strengthen civil society to promote Human Rights.
ii) Facilitates gender-centered education training in IFPs together with Associação Progresso.
ii) I am advisor and technical assistant for Zizile - institute for child development - Early Childhood Development focused organization.
i) Until december 2024, I was a member of denkmodell (denkmodell.de) expert consultant team contracted by GIZ Mozambique to provide organizational capacity development in the Project Nexus North (Cabo o Delgado, Nampula and Niassa) – supporting Agencia de Desenvolvimento Integrado do Norte (ADIN) and other government organization. Develop the Protocol for Intervention of Community Actors in prevention and response to Gender Based Violence in Nampula and Cabo Delgado.
ii) Until december 2024, was the national consultant representing the Canadian organization for the development of education (CODE), to provide coaching and technical assistance to progress in the implementation of the BETTER project (Better Education Through Teacher Training And Empowerment For Results), a project with a gender approach and funded by Global Affairs
Canada.
i) I developed and completed the baseline study for the launch project "My Voice Counts" of ROSC - Fórum Das Organizações da Sociedade Civil Para os Direitos da Criança, in 4 provinces of the country, namely Maputo city, Sofala, Inhambane and Niassa.
ii) Conducted the evaluation of the strategic plan of Zizile - Institute for Child Development.
Managed the completion of the MGCAS PROSAS design by Oxford Policy Programme (OPM) and
coordinated government and stakeholder engagement. Reported progress to UN Joint Programme
partners and collaborated with UNICEF's Social Protection team.
• Managed planning and reporting activities for output 2 of the annual plan, coordinating funds
utilization and donor reporting for various grants. They led mapping of child protection indicators
(GBV, VAC indicators) from civil society and managed section engagement for government
planning, including the development of the National Development Strategy.
• Managed communication with senior government officials, including MGCAS, MINEDH national
directors and the Procuradoria Geral da Republica.
• Supervised and mentored staff in Maputo, Beira, Quelimane and Nampula.
